I have completed 11 weeks of lessons and very pleased with my progress in Português. Elis, my instructor, is from São Paulo, so the dialect I'm learning is authentic. She and the staff are friendly and professional, and really feel more like friends. This is a great place to learn, but also to network with other nationals. I would recommend Alma Lingua to anyone looking for one on one lessons from teachers and staff who genuinely care about your personal development. No online program or app can compete.

My daughter absolutely adored Alma Lingua! She was interested in taking Spanish lessons over the Summer. They went at her pace, were flexible with days / times, and kept us up-to-date with my daughter's progress. Alma Lingua is the best! I wanted to learn Portuguese and it was difficult finding a place that would work with me because of my crazy work schedule but this place did! I've learned so much and my teacher Karan was the best! He made the class very fun and interactive when I couldn't get the pronunciation correct because of my partial hearing loss he took the time help me to ensure I was learning it right! Not not did he get frustrated and also has a smile! I will definitely be coming back for my second part of my training!! I highly recommend this place! It's sad that I can only give 5 stars this place deserves 10 stars!!

Alma Lingua fills the gap in the Akron/Fairlawn area by providing a cultural outlet for children and adults to learn or perfect foreign languages, study the cultures of the world and interact with like-minded people interested in pursuing personal enrichment. I highly recommend Alma Lingua for language study and childrens camps.
